Bio
The artist
Toefood is the saxophone-wielding sound sorcerer of the Bay Area's underground nightlife. A regular entertainer at the Knotty Rope Jam, the NorCal festival scene, Burning Man, and other sensual spaces sprawling with trifold squish, Toefood's performances pulse with rhythm, seduction, and immersive energy.
Each performance is as unique as the event, the audience, and the moment, heavy in playful improvisation and hypnotic layers of loops building to shuddering climaxes. Whether riding the wave of a DJ's thumping set or building an entire sonic world solo, this is music crafted to leave you gasping for more.
Boasting eclectic musical roots ranging goth, trip hop, downtempo electronica, progressive rock, Midwestern emo and metal, the Bay Area underground, and beyond, Toefood has carved out a niche that's equal parts sensual, immersive, and intoxicating. From deep, textural grooves to ecstatic climaxes, her sets are an invitation: to move, to surrender, to let the horn take over.
Toefood's reputation as a sax-wielding menace has only grown, her sound now synonymous with lusty, late-night indulgence. Every note winds its way through the crowd, wrapping bodies in rhythm, teasing, coaxing, and driving the energy ever higher.
